Boho wedding dreams
Okay, not that I'm biased or anything but this is for sure my most favorite wedding of the year. I love all my weddings & couples but this one was especially special because it was for my baby brother Logan & our new sister in law, Mallery! There is something seriously different about seeing your younger sibling marry their person. It is a whole new feeling that I have never experienced & I was not fully prepared for the overflow of emotions I felt when I walked down the aisle and saw my baby brother standing there. At first glance, I saw my happy, energetic, crazy little brother. I heard his raspy toddler voice in my mind & his sweet belly laugh from when we were kids. As I got closer, I still saw my brother, but now I saw a handsome, successful, mature man ready to marry his forever girl. It's even more comforting knowing that he would marry a girl we have known our whole life that loves him selflessly and compliments him so perfectly. Really you guys, it was an emotional day to say the least, and I'm still in shock with how much we all felt that day. There is no better feeling :)
Their day was picture perfect in every way. They may not have been able to go with their original plans but they rolled with the punches of covid and their plan B was EQUALLY (if not better?!) than I ever imagined! Both Logan and Mallery have an amazing attention to detail and it clearly was put fourth in every piece of their special day & love story. Their wedding style was playful, sophisticated, & boho all wrapped into one and the final product of everything put together was breathtaking in more ways than one! The day could not have happened without the help of family, friends, & all of the amazing vendors listed below.
This blog post will be a bit different from previous since I was not the primary photographer & it was a family wedding! Shoutout to Julie Kemp who was the primary photographer of this beautiful day! We can't wait to see her photos & relive the day once again. I had the honor of capturing some details + bride & groom portraits! (my two favorite things to capture on wedding days!) I will also include some personal shots from the day since I was able to have fun being a guest too!
Join me in Congratulating Mr. & Mrs. Johnson! Perfect day in every way.
